Terms of service
Last updated October 15, 2026
By creating a FinishKit account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.
The service
FinishKit is a tool for recording which timing equipment, kits and crew go to which race, what came back and in what condition, and what is being repaired. It is a record-keeping aid: it doesn't time races, and a clash warning or a return check is only as good as what your team enters. We aren't responsible for lost or damaged equipment, a race that goes wrong, or timing results.
Your account
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- The company owner controls who joins the company's account and can disable users at any time.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other companies' data.
Plans and billing
- Every new company gets a 30-day free trial with no card. After it, adding or changing records needs a paid plan; what you entered stays readable and exportable.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
- If a plan lapses, your data stays, but features and user logins above the Solo plan stop working until you subscribe again.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.
Your data
Your company's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.
Availability
We work to keep FinishKit running but can't promise it will never be down, race weekend included. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using FinishKit at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
